Emo Bossy

The title is in referrence to a term me and my boy Marvin made up. Emo Bossy. It's a way of life. A mentality. Some days you feel in charge of things, Bossy. Other days that completely suck, well, those are moments that the senstively inclined people such as myself loath. Currently??? Emo. Damn girls and they're twisted mentalities. I knew buying that Mayer Hawthorne album would come in handy.

She Wants to Move...

So this past Saturday I had to head over to DK's house in Rowaland Heights to remove my FC from his garage. It sucked. I really liked the fact that he took care of it for me these past months and my baby was tucked away in a nice lil garage. Damn. His dad was trippin about my car being there so she had to go. It's all good though. My good friend RX3 Savant showed love and let me store the FC at his crib...man, I'm so grateful. Really cool having friends like that.

The pic above shows my FC loaded on the AAA tow truck heading to Savants. It was good seeing my car again, I missed her. Next I have to get my motor built fully from Fris and install it. I cant wait. Updates Soon.

Unstoppable Movement

Great news!!! I just recently got recruited by staff over at motormavens.com to join the family as the newest reporter. If you know me, you cleary recognize how humble I am. This recent oppurtunity solidifies my belief that god does exist and good things come to those who patiently wait. I guess you just have to "keep the faith" as the wise Tavis Smiley always says . It's now within my power to report and post material pertaining to the Mazda Rotary culture and the many lifestyles which suuround it within my So Cal area. I am honored to be chosen.

Two founders of the site for whom I sincerely look up to are, Antonio Alvendia and Avon Bellamy. They both have been such great inspiration in my life, that it feels unreal to have that much love from individuals whom I have no extensive history with. It's like having long lost family that you never knew existed. So happy nowadays since meeting them. No Homo haha.

With that being said, I want to thank Antonio for the support and guidance and the same with Avon. I know you guys are hella busy and stuff, but you really dont understand how this has impacted an underdog like myself. Yoshi, Horacio and Travis, you guys are awesome and I look forward to working on many other assignments with you as motormavens. To my brother Emmanuel (big head), even though your a jerk sometimes, the camera you sold me meant a whole lot and I thank you for it. Just wish you were more supportive, but it's cool..maybe in due time. I'll still smack your stoopid face. To everyone else and my rotary family, I do this for yall too...thanks for all the love and support.

Deezy came through..

My boy from Arizona "Deezy" got at me on Facebook and offered me his set of engineering blessing's aka "Rotors". These will replace the ones I previously had in my motor. So fresh n so clean clean.

Breakin it Down

Got the full diagnosis from my builder Fris. Apparently my rear main bearing is toast (lack of sufficient oil). A new eccentric shaft is needed, and full replacement of both Rotors. I laid some bucks down on yesterdays visit to the shop for lapping of the irons. I just fall back and await pricing and plan out the build. Gotta keep goin yall!

Rotor P Mantis

Totally unrelated to cars or my love for drifting, but quite possibly just as awesome. I love finding things sometimes and when they capture your interest almost instantly, it's one of life's simple pleasures. Meet my boy "Rotor P Mantis" haha, I was on my break at work yesterday and found him hanging out by the door of my fav cafe. I just had to capture him and bring em home. Never seen one in real life before and this being my first encounter made it really cool.

Engine removal Saturday

Today waa a tough day. U haul trailer purchase, loading up my drift Rx7 on her way to get the engine removed for a rebuild. So much has to go into actually driving a well functional race car...it's draining. But I dont give up....I keep going. My vision is too strong, my strength and drive will never weaken. It all cant be done on my own...and Im so thankful I have people to support me. Today was awesome. Friends within the Mazda community came out on this very hot Saturday to help me. Im touched by this. Pics...

So Sad

What a month, better yet, what a year this has been. My FC's motor breaks and now the unexpected passing of one of rap music's hidden gems "Baatin" of Slum Village. I just caught word of this and it deeply saddens me. I look at him now in a different perspective than before. Similarities exist between baatin and my older brother, makes me feel like I shouldve taked to him or something. I'll stop there and just say that your presence on earth will be missed and forever you remain one of my favorite emcee's.

Strugglin Man : o)

So a couple things. Yesterday evening as Im on the way back to the house, I feel my motor go weak. Weird sensations, vibrating engine bay and a couple funny smells later...it dies. Coasting @ 60 mph, I pop start the engine and it comes to life again...but not at full "usual" power. I realize at this point, all the smoking and engine vibration previously means one thing...she's about to seize. She was burning a lot of oil and just not sounding like the regualr FC I've been used to. I can literally feel the low compression, almost as if running on just one rotor. I coast my way to the house off the fwy and park it. This would be my last ride with aaliyah probably for a long time. She simply needs to be rebuilt.

This being my only car at the moment, Im a bit worried and nervous about events to come. I have buisness to handle which is time sensitive. With no car, it's going to be a struggle. On that note, plans for the FC are at a hault. I have to now focus exclusively on getting to work, saving every dollar and getting back on my feet. The money saved for an apartment, now has to go towards other expenses. What a life!

Im not down, I want to be depressed, but not defeated. To put things lightly, I am simply under construction. To my friends and family...I will return stronger. This is a setback that I must conquer. In ending, I leave you with some footage of Lavar Mc Bride circa 1996 when black skaters were funnily considered uncool and white lol, my how things have changed. Early he's shown in a fight scene which to me is metaphorical to my fight against hardship. I really like the song played in the first 3:53...as it clearly describes my current situation and mentality. Please wish me well yall : )

The Day and Night track he did got on my nerves, major annoying. I come across this and it's features Kanye and Common. Worthy. It's funny and if you know me, I like song's from artist's with swag and a good level of cleverness.

Epic Satrurday...

Saturday was insane. Got up @ 5am to shoot pics in Angeles Crest Canyon and later meet up with the 3tcgarage.com crew. They were hosting a Ol Skool canyon run meet/bbq and I just had to attend. I brought along Andy in his red FC3C and Royce with his FB3S. We hung out, took pics...drove 9mile which was a section in the canyon with high speed straights and dope turn's. I tried my best to smash through this canyon, but my FC being as low as it is, would prove to be annoying whenever I hit rough ground sections. The car would also scrape tire in the rear on certain turns, making me nervous and an unfocused driver.

Martinized..

Heard about this cat when attending PSM's BBQ earlier this year. Martin is his name, and he pretty much has a bomb FC with original styling,engineering, and killer rear flare's. I think most people recognize his flare style first and move on to the rest of the car. Anyhow, here's his black FC.
