BBSs on a FC3S

There's something so right when you have BBS mesh on a FC. I think it was something just meant to be. Probably why they came as OEM wheels on the FC3Cs and Ifini type 91 FCs in Japan. What I like about this photo is the simplicity. Could do without the wing, but it's alright though.

A little inspiration

I'm not even mad at this. Ok execution, fender pull needs a little more of a clean finish. I like that fact that he went wide and retained OEM fender. I can def use this as a template for things to come.

Check the rear "goblin fender" style on this brack one. Rocking my BBSs too...bastard.

Yep, my boy Jordan from the UK had it. Sucks he sold the FC, but it's imagery still lives on through my blog :D

Whyyyy Jordan????

Hmmm.

I'm noticing blogs on the net which have a certain format they follow. You post a pic, then drop a few lines underneath the photo emphasizing your point. Think I'll conform...my pre-existing post style just doesn't appeal to me. Sheesh Uche, get with it!

Attempt #1

Ah hah!! Think I did it! Blogger, not so friendly to the post procrastinator. Me at an event 12/19/10 Flagship Society X DTA X L-Con.

Stock Metal Arno

Now, THIS is true stock metal. No added over fenders, just straight Mazda factory fender metal as the FC gods intended. I mean, dont get me wrong! I do appreciate a lot of the various aero manufacturers out there creating product for the FC, but I think as my taste changes, an appreciation for the FC and how it rolled off assembly lines have become more and more appealing and truly the theme to my blog.

Owner of this FC is my long time friend Arno Mardirossian. This guy definitely has true Rotary loyalty and a love for lowered Mazdas. He's always loved cars with low-low ride height, and after years of being absent from the FC game, he came back and unleashed his latest offering, a Turbo 1990 GTU FC3S.

He wasted no time modifying either, since Arno handles business and stays sharp at all times, he was able to fully revive this car from a bone stock platform, into a street/track awesome-mobile overnight. We worked together for weeks finding parts, OEM aero, rims, and a good 13B-T engine with good compression. What you see here in front of you is a fresh FC with rear fender pull, body work, and new paint mobbing the tracks of So-Cal aggressively. Thanks Arno.

FC Knights

Not so much stock metal on this one, but nonetheless, still some good ol FC content. For this blog, I decied to set things off with a cool dude from San Diego CA, my boy Daric Knight and from what I can recall,a S4 86-88 Turbo FC3S. Clerly running aftermarket aero, everything still sits right and has that "weathered" look I like.

We met at this years 2010 SevenStock, he rolled up and parked and I almost instinctively was drawn to the car for quite obvious reasons. Look at the height execution, color, and choice of wheels. You be the judge and see if you like his car as well.

Update.

Man, it's been too long since my last post and so much has occured. I guess I can start with my life adventures dating back to maybe March 2010. I ended up landing a gig with FALKEN Tire as a Dealer Trainer and Marketing rep. Amazing. All I can say is this was probably the most life changing job experience ever in my life and one which I will never forget. I traveled the United States by plane extensively, took on public speaking challenges which I never thought I could do, worked and labored during event setup frequently and made friends with some great people and co-workers.

The experience was wonderful and one which I take with me wherever I go and can now say I am a changed man/professional because of it. Since moving on from the company, I went right back into the swing of things with MotorMavens.com. Forever loyal to my best friend Antonio Alvendia, I stayed busy, asssited with media assignments and kept on moving forward. Money was minimal, problems started to mount, but I kept the faith and weathered the storm.

As of now, my job hunt and continued vision of completing my FC3S are in my head and this has led me reposting on the newly titled "Stock Metal". I'll locate my camera and start contributing more to this blog shortly, sit tight and watch the stories continue.

If I ruled the world..

Life...I wonder, will it take me under? I dont know! Crazy how things in life go your way, just a little, and then all of a sudden, things fall apart. I could have sworn I was on the right track to getting my life back in order, and when I least expect it. I lose my job. Damn!

Again, I find myself in a dilema, scrambling to regain normalcy. Lets see how things turn out, 2010 for me will be to think positive and let things fall into place. Check this song Im diggin right now.
